On May 8, at 05:10, the Rescue Service “101” received a report about a fire in the city of Kamianka-Buzka on the street Nezalezhnosti, Lviv district. The fire started in an apartment on the third floor of a three-story residential building.<\/p>\n
The rescuers of the 18th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Kamianka-Buzka went to the place of the call.
\nWhen firefighters arrived at the scene of the call, thick black smoke was billowing out of the windows of the apartment where the fire started.<\/p>\n
Due to heavy smoke, the firefighters had to work in special respiratory and eye protection devices. During the reconnaissance of the smoky apartment in the corridor on the floor, the rescuers found a man who was taken out into the fresh air and handed over to doctors for further examination. The victim was the son of the owner of the apartment, a man born in 1972. O<\/p>\n
At 05:31, firefighters localized the fire and extinguished it at 05:33.<\/p>\n
As a result of the fire, the fire destroyed a sofa on an area of 1 sq.m. and damaged the floor on the area of 1 sq.m.
\n3 personnel and 1 unit of special equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.<\/p>\n
