Our hero experienced clinical death five times, lost his legs and spent about a month in a coma.<\/p>\n
Petro Buryak served in the east and south of Ukraine, was seriously wounded in the battle for the Kherson region. The injury was practically not compatible with life.<\/p>\n
Our hero is a patient of the Superhumans Center, a ray of positivity and a true warrior who, having no previous military experience, stood up for the defense of Ukraine without any hesitation.<\/p>\n
“On the night of February 24, I did not sleep. I was on a business trip abroad, driving and listening to Ukrainian radio. At 04:30 I heard that the war had started. At 04:40 I decided that I would immediately return home and join the army,” the soldier said.<\/p>\n
Peter is currently undergoing rehabilitation, showing incredible results on his new legs. He founded the “Indomitable Warriors” fund to help military personnel and their families, writes a book about his incredible life, and shows his children an example every day that nothing is impossible on the way to your dreams!<\/p>\n
By the way, the project “Collection for Superhumans: we take and give back!” is ongoing. The goal is 50 million hryvnias for prosthetics of military and civilian people to return them to an active life.<\/p>\n
