From today, the Lviv City Territorial Community started acaricidal treatment of parks, forest parks, and green areas. Processing will last 3 days – until Wednesday, May 24, inclusive. After all, forecasters predict weather without precipitation on these days. Residents are urged not to visit parks during this period.<\/p>\n
In order to prevent the breeding of ticks and to minimize the risk of bites to the residents of the Lviv MTG, treatment is carried out with the insecticide “Tsyperthrin”. The total area to be processed is 136,850 m2.<\/p>\n

“Further processing of the rest of the parks will be carried out as soon as weather conditions allow. We will inform you about this further.<\/p>\n
In the event of a change in weather conditions (if it rains enough), the processing schedule may be adjusted, which will also be necessarily reported,” – noted the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Lviv City Council.<\/p>\n
