As it became known to the Voice of Sokal region from the deputy mayor of the city of Sokal Oleg Oliynyk, the accident occurred at the main sewage collector, the diameter of the pipe in this section is 400 mm.<\/p>\n

As Oleg Oliynyk emphasized, this section of the collector is located under the street, where there is a huge load of cars. Since the 70s, the pipe was not intended for such traffic. Perhaps the last downpour prompted the washing of the soil under the pipe and an accident occurred.<\/p>\n
When asked how long it will last and why the water was turned off in the city, Oleg Romanovych said the following:<\/p>\n
The water was turned off in order to reduce drains into the pipe. At the moment, even the amount of work that needs to be done is not visible, because the entire area is in the drains. We do not know how the groundwater will behave, so we want to wait for the area to drain. I would like to note that at first cars were moving along half of the road, but the soil was constantly falling. The Sokalvodokanal car managed to leave at the last moment – otherwise it would have fallen into the abyss.<\/p>\n
We will try to complete the work within 48 hours. Water delivery is not planned.<\/p>\n
Since the accident is very serious, the repair may take a long time. After all, we do not know what the condition of the collector will be in the future, – emphasized Oleg Romanovych.<\/p>\n

Regarding the bypass of Sheptytskogo Street<\/p>\n
Buses can go on the bypass, through Petrushevicha, Ya. Mudroi streets, as well as cars. Additionally, as agreed with the police, cars can go to the city center from Ukrainian Street (opposite the Prosecutor’s Office), turn right and left (near DOSAAF) to B. Khmelnytskyi Street.<\/p>\n

Water is planned to be supplied for up to 48 hours. If the repair is delayed, there will be an additional message. When entering into a contract for water supply and drainage with Sokalvodokanal, residents must have a supply of water for 48 hours.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
