During the celebration, traditional military events took place – hoisting the flag of the lyceum, raising the National Flag of Ukraine, an orchestra accompaniment and a traditional military march, as well as a joint prayer and blessing from the chaplain.<\/p>\n
On the eve of graduation, as is customary, the students of Krutyan planted “their” tree on the avenue of graduates: it is a sharp-leaved maple.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that the Heroiv Krut Lyceum is a unique specialized institution of secondary education of the II-III degrees of the military profile for the education of children from the age of 13. It is the primary link of the military education system of Ukraine, because its graduates become cadets of higher military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense, the State Border Service, the National Guard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service, and other structures of the security and defense sector of the state.<\/p>\n
