Today, June 28, another meeting of the project team on transport was held in Lviv OVA. The purpose of the meeting is to work out the technical tasks of project applications for the cooperation of communities of the Lviv agglomeration.<\/p>\n
During the meeting, with the participation of representatives of the public and the scientific community, the ideas of joint projects were considered: “Lviv City Express suburban train” and “Single electronic ticket”.<\/p>\n
“The goal of these projects is to improve the quality of life through barrier-free access to public transport using clean energy and to promote access to quality education, medical facilities, openness, safety and environmental sustainability of cities and settlements,” said Stepan LOVA, Head of the Department of Transport and Communications Rudnytskyi<\/p>\n
Lviv city express is a project for the development of an ecosystem of innovative multimodal passenger transportation based on people-centered principles, where the main type of transportation between territorial communities is high-speed suburban trains with electronic traction (according to the principle of the German S-Bann), and within the boundaries of the territorial community there are internal bus transportations. where according to the type of transport, an electric bus should run.<\/p>\n
