“Our Anastasiya Nimets and Yuliya Korostilova, together with Olena Kostevich from Chernihiv Oblast, won the final match of small-caliber pistol shooting from a distance of 25 meters among women’s teams at the European Games. In the fight for the first place, Ukrainian women met with the hosts of the competition, representatives of Poland, and won,” said the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.<\/p>\n
On the way to the final match, the Ukrainian trio won two qualifying stages.<\/p>\n
29-year-old Anastasia Niemets trains at the Lviv Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery and represents FC Dynamo. She is trained by Roman Bodnaruk.<\/p>\n
39-year-old Yuliya Korostylova is a military officer of the Training and Sports Base of Summer Sports of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and a representative of the Lviv School of Higher Sports Excellence. Last year, she won the first gold in her career at the World Championship. Yulia’s mentors \u2014<\/p>\n
We will remind you that Yulia together with her brother Pavlo won the gold at the distance of 25 meters yesterday. Last year, for Julia and Anastasia as the best athletes of the national team of the Lviv region, the Youth and Sports Department of the Lviv OVA purchased state-of-the-art pistols from the Italian manufacturer PARDINI.<\/p>\n
