The evacuated children are of preschool age, from 3 to 8 years old. They were placed in institutions for children in the Lviv region.<\/p>\n
As noted in the children’s service of the Lviv Regional Government Office, 215 pupils of the institution were evacuated from the beginning of martial law in the Lviv region in order to provide social protection for children.<\/p>\n
“We thank the partners from BO “BF “New Horizons for Children Ukraine” and the volunteers of the team of the project “Medical and psychological assistance” for their help in meeting and moving these children. It is very important for us to protect the psyche of each child, so that he feels safe, does not hear explosions and alarm signals,” said Volodymyr Lys, head of the children’s service of Lviv OVA.<\/p>\n
As of today, there are 277 children (internally displaced as part of organized groups of institutions) in 16 institutions of the Lviv region, of which 131 are orphans and children deprived of parental care.<\/p>\n
