Lilia Onyshchenko, adviser to the mayor of Lviv on matters of cultural heritage preservation, said that this year, the tombstones of the Klein family and the Mahek family, as well as tombstones on the graves of Konstantin Chilinskyi, Eustachy Mianchynskyi, Julian Shaer, the Ivanovich family, and Petro Sushkevych were chosen for restoration. Restoration work has already begun on some objects. And all work should be completed by the end of this year.<\/p>\n
As a reminder, within the framework of the “Common Heritage” project, tombstones on the graves of famous people, or those with artistic value, are being restored. Objects for restoration are chosen every year by a joint Polish-Ukrainian commission.<\/p>\n
