The court’s decision satisfied the lawsuit of the head of the Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n
It recognized the illegal inaction of the balance keeper and obliged to bring the protective structure of civil defense into proper technical condition and readiness for use as intended.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors established that in one of the villages of the Shegyniv Territorial Community (Yavorivsky District) there is an anti-radiation shelter in the school building. The total area of the premises is more than 450 square meters.<\/p>\n
According to the technical passport, it can accommodate 1,300 people.<\/p>\n
The village council is the balance keeper of the indicated object of civil protection. The latter, neglecting the safety of students and employees of the school, did not take measures to bring the protective structure into a state of readiness and use it for its intended purpose.<\/p>\n
Accordingly, the prosecutor’s office initiated a judicial resolution of the issue.<\/p>\n
The court confirmed the validity of the prosecutor’s demands and satisfied the claim in full.<\/p>\n
After the court decision becomes legally binding, the prosecutor’s office will take measures for its immediate implementation by the village council.<\/p>\n
