We are talking about the “Green tourism” project, which is ongoing within the framework of cooperation between the National Nature Park “Northern Podillia” and the NGO “Zolochiv.net”.<\/p>\n
For several years, scientists and employees of the “Northern Podillia” NPP have been using short videos to acquaint those interested with the nature of the Lviv part of the Podilsk Highlands.<\/p>\n
The implementation of projects that spread knowledge about natural biodiversity and its valuable specimens is an important step for increasing the environmental awareness of citizens.<\/p>\n
“It is the national nature parks that have a unique opportunity to reconcile the tasks of nature protection with the needs of the balanced use of natural resources and recreation of the population,” – notes the Acting Director. Oksana Viytyk, Director of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Lviv Regional State Administration.<\/p>\n
The “Green Tourism” project already includes more than 30 videos, with the help of which you can learn about the unique natural rock “Trynyg”, karst reservoirs “Blue Windows”, the plants of the spring gorse flower and mosariky tile, which are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine. As well as the red sable and the crowned sable, which are regionally rare for the Lviv region.<\/p>\n

“Northern Podillia National Park also offers various walking and cycling trips, thanks to which you can combine visits to castles, monasteries, churches, museums of the Zolochiv region with the natural beauty of the park’s territory and places of rest,” Oksana Viytyk added.<\/p>\n
