“Ukrainians dream of a peaceful sky overhead and civilian planes in it, not of enemy air targets that destroy our cities and villages and kill. Ukrainians dream of a thunderstorm after the heat and a rainbow, not the sounds of explosions. Ukrainians dream of rebuilding our “Dream”. There are those among us who bring these dreams closer to fulfillment every day. We thank our aces of military aviation, who skillfully neutralize the enemy in the Ukrainian skies and do everything and even more to restore peace to our skies. We admire, we appreciate, we are waiting at home with victory! Happy Aviation Day of Ukraine!”, congratulated the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.<\/p>\n
The holiday was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On Aviation Day” from 1993. It is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of August.<\/p>\n
