The investigation established that in July of this year, in the Zolochiv district, during the curfew, police officers stopped the driver of the vehicle. The extra person violated traffic rules and was intoxicated.<\/p>\n
In order to avoid administrative responsibility, the accused offered the police a bribe of 700 USD. He put money on the seat of a company car. The law enforcement officers refused the illegal benefit and called an investigative team to the scene.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was carried out by the investigators of the Zolochiv district police department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region.<\/p>\n
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.<\/p>\n
