The Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, through the court, obliged the unscrupulous developer to reimburse the debt for the payment of share participation in the amount of more than 3 million UAH.<\/p>\n
Prosecutors proved in court that in 2018, the Department of Economic Development of the Lviv City Council and the developer of multi-apartment buildings signed an equity participation agreement.<\/p>\n
According to the terms of the contract, the construction company had to pay contributions to the local budget for the development of the infrastructure of the territorial community of Lviv. However, she did not fulfill her obligations.<\/p>\n
As a result, the local self-government body is deprived of the opportunity to use these funds for the construction of infrastructure and social sphere objects, in particular educational institutions, preschool educational institutions, parks and playgrounds, etc.<\/p>\n
In order to protect the interests of the community, the prosecutor’s office appealed to the court with a claim to recover this amount from the company. The court supported the position of the prosecutor’s office and satisfied the claims in full.<\/p>\n
