On October 5-6, the Cup of Ukraine in kettlebell sports took place in Kyiv. More than 250 weightlifters from 18 regions of Ukraine took part in the competition, among which the Drohobych resident once again won.<\/p>\n
Andrii Lagush, an athlete from the Drogobytsk Territorial Community, brought home the gold, performing in the 95+ weight category. In the “guard jerk” exercise, the athlete lifted a weight weighing 32 kilograms 216 times in 12 minutes, thus showing the best result and winning 1st place.<\/p>\n
Drohobychany won a convincing victory, as the gap between first and second place was as many as 23 climbs.
