“Rich in vitamins and minerals, pumpkins help to gain strength before winter. For the most part, all the animals in our shelter, except the predators, eat pumpkins. They are especially enjoyed by raccoons, primates, rodents and ungulates. Therefore, we will be grateful to everyone who joins this good cause,” says the Home of Rescued Animals.<\/p>\n
The organizers urge you to bring only whole pumpkins to any Pizza Celentano restaurant in Lviv. The promotion lasts until November 3.<\/p>\n
There are about a thousand residents in the Home of Rescued Animals: both domestic and wild animals, most of which live in the shelter permanently.<\/p>\n
