Specialists of “Lvivgazvydobuvannya”, which is part of the structure of “Naftogaz of Ukraine” group, explored a new well in a depleted field in the Carpathians.<\/p>\n
Record gas production rates from a well 1,600 m deep were achieved thanks to the use of modern technologies, the Naftogaz press service notes.<\/p>\n
“An exploratory well, during testing of which a gas inflow with a flow rate of more than 200,000 cubic meters was obtained. m of gas per day, gave the highest indicator for deposits in the western region in the last 20 years. The western region has great potential for the discovery of new hydrocarbon deposits, which is confirmed by the results of neighboring countries. Now we are intensifying our work in this region, in particular with regard to the introduction of new technologies and investment attraction,” commented the former head of state. at. The well for drilling was laid based on the results of the interpretation of new data from previously conducted seismic 3D surveys. It was put into operation in a very short time: for this, pipelines were built and the gas preparation plant was modernized.<\/p>\n
