As the employees of police department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 established, on November 24, around 3:00 p.m. in the village of Pyatnychany, the suspect entered a residential building and took money from a bag that was lying in a prominent place.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the housewife, who was in the yard, saw a stranger in the house, reported it to the police.<\/p>\n
The crew of the response sector of the patrol police and the investigative-operational group of police department No. 2 of Lviv district police department No. 2 immediately went to the scene of the incident. The law enforcement officers together with the owners detained the intruder.<\/p>\n
The detainee was identified as a 30-year-old resident of Zakarpattia region. Investigators of the territorial division of the police, under the procedural guidance of the Pustomytov district prosecutor’s office, informed him of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in part 2 of article 15 of part 4 of article 185 (Attempt to commit theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum punishment provided by the sanction of the article is up to eight years of imprisonment.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, the suspect is in custody according to the court’s decision.<\/p>\n
