On December 4, at 04:41, the Rescue Service “101” received a report that in the village Lishna on the street Bologna, Drohobytsky district, in a brick residential building, the owners, a man and a woman born in 1956, need medical help and cannot open the door on their own.<\/p>\n
With the help of a chance tool, the rescuers opened the door of the house and entered the house in special respiratory protection devices. During the inspection of the house, the rescuers found a woman on the floor near the door and an unconscious man on the bed in one of the rooms.<\/p>\n
The rescuers took the victims to fresh air and handed them over to doctors for further examination.
\nDoctors, after examination, previously with carbon monoxide poisoning, hospitalized the victims in Drohobytsk City Hospital No. 1 in a state of moderate severity.<\/p>\n
As it turned out, no gas leak was detected in the house, the lack of draft in the furnace arose due to a closed damper.<\/p>\n
The head office of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region reminds: Dear citizens, in order to save your life and the lives of people close to you, you need to follow simple safety rules.<\/p>\n
When using stove heating, IT IS FORBIDDEN:
\n– leave burning stoves unattended or entrust their supervision to minor children;
\n– use furnaces that have cracks;
\n– place fuel, other combustible substances and materials directly in front of the furnace opening;
\n– store unextinguished coals and ashes in a metal container placed on a wooden floor or a combustible stand;
\n– dry and stack clothes, firewood, other combustible objects and materials on stoves;
\n– use flammable and combustible liquids to ignite furnaces;
\n– use wood for heating, the length of which exceeds the size of the firebox;
\n– heating furnaces with open furnace doors;<\/p>\n
It is also strictly forbidden to close the hood until the fuel is completely burned.<\/p>\n
