In the Drohobytsk Territorial Community, employees of the “Municipal Management Service” KP have been working 24 hours a day since December 1 and are cleaning communal roads.<\/p>\n
Volodymyr Suda, head of the “SMU” KP, reported that all central roads in Drohobych and Stebnik have been cleared over the weekend and until today, with the help of municipal workers and snow removal equipment. 3 sand throwers, a Bobcat grader and tractors were involved in the work to clear the roads in the villages of the community.<\/p>\n
In addition to the city utilities, private companies – SG “Pochatok”, FOP “Soroka”, FG “Eko Charole” joined the clearing of roads in the villages of the Drohobych community.<\/p>\n
In addition, sidewalks and pedestrian areas are being sprinkled with a sand-salt mixture from ice every day.<\/p>\n
The equipment of our utility company has been working around the clock since December 1. It is especially intensified during the days and evenings when it snows. Of course, these days we had difficult weather conditions – snow, rain and again snow and a drop in temperature. As a result, ice formed. Despite this, as of December 5, all roads in Drohobych and Stebnyk are well cleared. An exception may be separate alleys and side streets, which are difficult for snow removal equipment to enter. I also want to note that we receive complaints about the impassability of roads within condominiums. I emphasize and call on the residents of our community to be aware that snowing the roads from ice and clearing them within the courtyards of high-rise buildings is the responsibility of condominiums, or it is possible to involve KP “Upravitel ZEO” in these works, Volodymyr Suda emphasized.<\/p>\n
A separate request from utility companies and car owners is to park their vehicles in such a way that they do not obstruct the movement of snow removal equipment through the streets of the city.<\/p>\n
