The defender was born on April 17, 1968 in the Kharkiv region. After marriage, he lived in Drohobych on Ozernaya street. He worked at the “Halychyna” industrial complex.<\/p>\n
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Alexander joined the ranks of the defenders. He was a junior sergeant. He served as a senior master grenade launcher in the A-4722 military unit.<\/p>\n
He passed through Bakhmut and other hot spots of the front, was wounded, but stood in defense of Ukraine to the last.<\/p>\n
A soldier died on December 6 in the Pokrovsky direction of the front in Donetsk region, while performing combat tasks for the defense of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
The deceased Hero is survived by his wife, three children, a sister, a brother, and nephews.<\/p>\n
The Drohobytsk City Council, its executive committee, Mayor Taras Kuchma and Council Secretary Orest Karakevich express their sincere condolences to the family, relatives, friends and relatives regarding the untimely death of our compatriot and Hero – Oleksandr Kornuti.<\/p>\n

The arrival of the funeral convoy with the defender’s body will take place tomorrow, December 12.<\/p>\n
Meeting at Heroes’ Crossroads – at 11:30. At 12:00, a city-wide farewell will be held on Rynok Square.<\/p>\n
The Hero’s funeral will begin at 12:30 in the Holy Trinity Cathedral.<\/p>\n
The soldier will be buried on the Alley of Glory.<\/p>\n
