Loyal to the military oath, courageously performing his duty, the driver of the machine gun platoon of the rifle company of the rifle battalion of the A1556 military unit, Ihor Volodymyrovych Levytskyi, died as a result of an FPV drone strike on December 19, 2023 in the area of Novoandriyivka, Zaporizhzhia region, while performing combat missions.<\/p>\n
In particular, Igor’s classmate from the Lviv Theological Seminary, Fr. Mykhailo Zubkovich, shared the loss: “A priest, our classmate at the Lviv Theological Seminary, Fr. died in the war with Russia. Ihor Levitskyi. Rest in peace, brother.”<\/p>\n
