The second year of full-scale war brings its own adjustments to the celebration of the Christmas and New Year holidays. Drohobych is not decorated with festive illumination, there are fewer bright windows and decorations in the city center. Also, for the second year in a row, the main Christmas tree of the city is not installed on the central square of Drohobych, since fallen heroes are met here and the city-wide farewell is held, but near the People’s House.<\/p>\n
However, this year, the spirit of Christmas holidays for children is created by a festive photo zone, which will be installed by the KP “Municipal Administration Service”. The photo zone is made of wooden blocks and contains several elements: a wooden Christmas tree, snowmen and a sleigh with deer. In the evening, the photo zone is illuminated.<\/p>\n
On the eve of Christmas, unknown persons damaged the elements of the photo zone in the evening. The figure of a deer unscrewed its horns and damaged the animal’s head. As Volodymyr Suda, head of the CP “SMU” told, the process of restoring the damaged figures from the photo zone continues with the efforts of their employees.<\/p>\n
We request the residents of the city not to destroy what was created with love and warmth for children and is designed to give them a good mood during these festive days. After all, the photo zone has become a favorite place for children: children take photos in wooden sleds, with deer and snowmen. Therefore, let’s jointly protect what is the property of the community, Volodymyr Suda urged the residents of the community.<\/p>\n
