In 2023, 10,406 traffic accidents were registered on the roads of Lviv and the region, 2,010 of which involved casualties. In these car accidents, 222 people died, and 2,634 received injuries of varying degrees of severity.<\/h2>\n

The police of the Lviv region urge drivers: do not exceed the permitted speed, do not make risky maneuvers, keep a distance, be as attentive as possible when approaching intersections and pedestrian crossings.<\/p>\n

And law enforcement officers remind pedestrians: cross the road only in authorized places, and in the dark time of day, mark yourself with reflective elements – this will make you visible to the driver and allow you to avoid being hit.<\/p>\n
