The serviceman’s funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a city farewell ceremony will take place on Rynok Square. The soldier will be buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.<\/p>\n

Orest Yamros (December 3, 1983-January 1, 2024) from Lviv.<\/p>\n
Studied at Lyceum No. 38. Received higher education at the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Ivan Franko Lviv National University.<\/p>\n
After completing his studies, he held the position of deputy director of the private enterprise “Polyalp”. In his free time, he was fond of fishing, tourist trips, mountaineering, making cold weapons and music. He had an exceptional sense of humor.<\/p>\n
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he actively engaged in volunteer activities, and later joined the ranks of the territorial defense. In October 2023, he joined the 95th Separate Assault Polish Brigade of the Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He had great motivation for military service and constantly improved his professional skills.<\/p>\n
