The police documented several facts of sale of prohibited substances by the offender and, during an authorized search, found and seized from him drug-containing pills “Subutex” and “Amphetamine”, electronic scales, a significant amount of money in different currencies, proceeds from illegal activities and other material evidence.<\/p>\n
The issue of serving the offender a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense stipulated by Part 1 and Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) is being settled. The maximum penalty provided by the sanction of the article is imprisonment for up to ten years with confiscation of property.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the court will soon choose a measure of restraint.<\/p>\n
