According to the investigation, one of Chervonohrad’s municipal enterprises and the company entered into a contract for the purchase of a garbage truck. However, the company never delivered the truck.<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, the suspect, knowing about the actual absence of the garbage truck, drew up and signed a false acceptance certificate to the contract.<\/p>\n
As a result, the company was unjustifiably transferred over UAH 500 thousand.<\/p>\n
At the request of the prosecutor, the offender’s property was seized.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the Chervonohrad District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region with the operational support of the State Investigation Department in Lviv region of the State Secret Service of the National Police of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Note: in accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved by law and established by a court verdict of guilty.<\/p>\n
