On 16 February 2024, a serviceman, our fellow countryman, a native of Uhniv, Tereshko Vasyl Ivanovych, born on 10.02.1972, died.<\/p>\n
Since 2019, the Hero Vasyl Tereshko has been a participant in the anti-terrorist operation, during the full-scale invasion he took part in the defence of Kyiv region, fought in the Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia directions.<\/p>\n
Gradually, the war took away the soldier’s health, and on 16 February 2024, Vasyl Ivanovych’s heart stopped beating. Unfortunately, the Hero never got to see his son Artem, who was taken prisoner by Russia while defending Mariupol.<\/p>\n
We express our sincere condolences to the mother, sons, and all the soldier’s family and friends. A courageous and loyal son of Ukraine has gone to heaven. Eternal memory and glory to the Hero!<\/p>\n
The cortege with the Hero’s body will arrive in Ugnev on Monday 19.02.204, approximately at 12-13 pm, we ask the community to meet the Hero, who gave the state the most valuable thing he had, with a bow.<\/p>\n
The parastasis and funeral rites of the Hero Vasyl Tereshko will be held on 19.02.2024, the warrior will be buried in his native Uhniv at the local cemetery. The time of the funeral service will be specified later.<\/p>\n
