Recently, a video was released in the media showing a vehicle with a stencil of one of the intercity bus routes. The driver committed a gross violation of traffic rules.<\/p>\n
In accordance with Article 122 of the Traffic Code, the driver failed to give way to pedestrians on unregulated pedestrian crossings, which caused an emergency situation. The driver faces a fine of UAH 1,445, or deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of six months to a year.<\/p>\n
In response to the publication of this incident, the Road Department of the Lviv Regional State Administration sent a warning letter to the carrier, Lvivske ATP-14631 LLC, with an obligation to provide explanations, take appropriate response measures and conduct additional briefings with all drivers of the company on strict compliance with the Rules of Passenger Transportation by Road.<\/p>\n
“For gross violation of labour discipline, the management of Lviv ATP-14631 LLC decided to dismiss the driver of the specified bus route,” said Orest Shulikovsky, director of the LOVA Road Department.<\/p>\n

The Road Department calls on residents of the region to contact the department in case of violations of the schedule or traffic scheme by carriers to make management decisions and prevent such violations in the future.<\/p>\n
