The Commercial Court of Lviv Region upheld a claim filed by the Stryi District Prosecutor’s Office against a business entity. The court decision terminated the land lease agreement, ordered the company to return the land to the community and pay the debt for its use.<\/p>\n
It was established that the Morshyn City Council and the company entered into a land lease agreement.<\/p>\n
The land in question is intended for the construction of a hotel and tourist complex with an area of almost 0.6 hectares. It is located on the territory of the Morshyn territorial community in Lviv region.<\/p>\n
However, the developer, in violation of the terms of the agreement and its obligations under the above agreement, systematically failed to pay the rent for the use of the land plot. As a result, he incurred a debt of over UAH 1.6 million.<\/p>\n
Given the violation of the law, the prosecutor’s office defended the community and filed a lawsuit.<\/p>\n
The court agreed with the prosecutor’s arguments and satisfied the claim in full.<\/p>\n
