A flock of sheep raised the alarm of the border guards of the Bieszczady Department. An unusual incident occurred last night in the Korchova area.<\/p>\n

The information about the “unusual crossing of the Polish-Ukrainian border” was provided by the Bieszczady Border Guard Department (BOSG). It happened in the area guarded by border guards from the Korczowa post.<\/p>\n
“The devices alerted us to the approach of figures to the border line. The monitoring screens recognized a flock of sheep. The animals crossed the border and started feeding. The patrolmen, who knew the border area and its inhabitants well, notified the owner of the unruly flock. Encouraged by the owner’s cries, the sheep returned to Poland after a while,” – said Border Guard Lieutenant Colonel Piotr Zakielaz, spokesman for the Border Guard Commander.<\/p>\n
