In general, the accounting work was carried out on the entire territory of hunting grounds of the region on the area of 1771.0 thousand hectares.<\/p>\n
According to the results of the hunting fauna accounting, as of today, the following numbers have been recorded in the region: European deer – 2025 (1921); roe deer – 19199 (18450); wild boars – 3935 (3581); spotted deer – 53; elk – 145; Daniel deer (fallow deer) – 98.<\/p>\n
Thus, the number of ungulates in the region increased by 1225 heads compared to the previous year and amounted to 25627 (24402).<\/p>\n
But the number of hares slightly decreased from 46353 to 44884.<\/p>\n
