On May 1, the first stage of the All-Ukrainian children’s and youth military-patriotic game \u201cSokil\u201d (\u201cDzhura\u201d) of the younger age group among general secondary education institutions of the Sokal territorial community took place in the city park of Sokal.<\/p>\n
The game was attended by 12 swarms from Volytsia secondary school, Voyslavytsia gymnasium, Zhvyrkiv secondary school, Zabuzh secondary school, Perespiv gymnasium, Potorytsia secondary school, ZZSO secondary school. Sokal lyceum \u21161 named after O. Romaniv, Sokal secondary school \u21162, Sokal secondary school \u21164, Sokal secondary school \u21165, Stenyatyn secondary school and Tartakiv educational complex \u201cSecondary school – kindergarten named after P. Sanotsky\u201d.<\/p>\n
The event began with the Ukrainian anthem and a minute of silence. Mayor Serhiy Kasyan and Lesya Kovalyshyn, Head of Education, Youth and Sports Department of the Sokal City Council, addressed the participants of the Game, emphasizing the importance of national and patriotic education, wishing the children to gain new knowledge, skills, good impressions and remain true patriots of their country. After the presentation of the swarms, the work of the locations began.<\/p>\n
The participants competed with each other in the following events:<\/p>\n
– \u201cIn order\u201d (scoring);
\n– intellectual competition \u201cTo the Heights\u201d (for points);
\n– Obstacle course (scoring);
\n– Sports relay race (compulsory).<\/p>\n
The locations were:
\n– \u201cIn Order\u201d – members of the camp’s foreman and judges of the regional stages of the game \u201cSokol\u201d (\u201cDzhura\u201d) Yevhen Matviyiv, Ivan Bulka and Ihor Huliavsky;
\n– intellectual competition \u201cTo the Heights\u201d – director of the Sokal Children and Youth Youth Center Maria Polishchuk and methodologist Oksana Bazylevych;
\n– \u201cObstacle Course\u201d – participant and winner of the regional tourist and sports competitions Taras Bubela;
\n– \u201cSports Relays\u201d – teacher of Potoritske secondary school Iryna Bereziuk.<\/p>\n
There were also two additional locations: \u201cPresentation of explosive objects\u201d from the Chervonohrad Regional Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast and \u201cCreative masters\u201d from the Sokal House of Children and Youth Creativity.<\/p>\n
According to the results of the competition, the first place was won by the \u201cSokolyata\u201d swarm of the secondary school of I-III grades. O. Romaniv Lyceum No. 1, the second place went to the swarm \u201cCharacterists\u201d of Sokal Secondary School No. 2, the third place to the swarm \u201cUnbreakable Hearts\u201d of Zhvyrkiv Secondary School and the swarm \u201cFriendly Cossacks\u201d of Tartakiv Secondary School – P. Sanotskyi Kindergarten.
\nThe Sokil (\u201cDzhura\u201d) game of the junior age group was held in accordance with the order of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Sokal City Council dated 29.03.2024 \u211601-07\/28 \u201cOn holding the first stage of the All-Ukrainian children’s and youth military-patriotic game Sokil (\u201dDzhura\u201c) in the 2023\/24 academic year\u201d and the Program \u201cNational-patriotic, military-sports education and training of youth for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2021-2025\u201d of the Sokal City Council.<\/p>\n
We are grateful to the medical worker of the Sokal secondary school \u21165 for medical supervision of the participants of the Game, the teacher of the Sokal secondary school \u21165 Roman Shevchenko for conducting exercises for children, the directorate of the Sokal secondary school \u21164 for providing musical equipment.
