In the first four months of 2024, 44 accidents involving motorcyclists and scooterists occurred on the roads of Lviv region, killing five people and injuring 34.<\/p>\n
Lviv regional police reminds:<\/p>\n
– driving motorized vehicles is allowed from the age of 16;<\/p>\n
– when going on a trip, do not forget to wear helmets and other personal protective equipment;<\/p>\n
– check the serviceability of your motorized vehicle before leaving (pay attention to how the brakes and horns work);<\/p>\n
– be sure to warn other road users of your intention to maneuver;<\/p>\n
– when driving in the dark, be sure to turn on your headlights – they will make your vehicle visible in the dark;<\/p>\n
– towing motorcycles, mopeds and scooters is prohibited.<\/p>\n
The Lviv regional police calls on drivers of two-wheeled vehicles to be careful, strictly follow the requirements of the Traffic Rules, do not exceed the speed limit and monitor the road situation. Take care of your life and health – your own and those around you.<\/p>\n
