As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, a DAF truck driven by a 49-year-old resident of Kyiv region collided with a Range Rover driven by a 59-year-old resident of Kyiv.<\/p>\n
As a result of the accident, a passenger in the SUV, a 52-year-old woman from Kyiv, was injured and hospitalised.<\/p>\n
Investigators at Police Department No. 3 of the Stryi District Police Department opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules). The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n
