Tomorrow Lviv will say goodbye to soldiers Ruslan Yarov, Taras Panas, Andriy Bondarenko<\/h2>\n
On Saturday, 8 June, Lviv will say goodbye to three soldiers. Ruslan Yarovyi, Taras Panas, and Andriy Bondarenko defended Ukraine from Russian occupiers. Lviv City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and refrain from holding entertainment events and celebrations during this time.<\/p>\n
In the morning, at 09:00, a prayer and farewell service will be held in the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin of the UGCC (7 Holovatyi St.).<\/p>\n
The funeral service for the defenders Taras Panas, Ruslan Yarovyi and Andriy Bondarenko will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Ss. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a city farewell ceremony will be held on Rynok Square.<\/p>\n
The soldiers will be buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery.<\/p>\n
Biographical references of the defenders<\/h3>\nAndrii Bondarenko (“The Prophet”) (09.02.1980-29.05.2024). A resident of Lviv.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

He studied at the secondary school No. 84 named after Blessed Josaphata Hordashevska. Later he received vocational education. After completing his studies, he served in the military.<\/p>\n
He was a repairman in Lutsk and loved his job. In his spare time, he loved travelling around Ukraine. According to his family, he was an exceptionally kind, sincere and open person who never refused to help.<\/p>\n
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he defended the state from the Russian occupiers. He performed combat missions to protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state in the ranks of the 141st separate mechanised brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He gave his life saving his sworn brothers.<\/p>\n
Andrii Bondarenko is survived by his beloved fianc\u00e9e and aunt.<\/p>\nRuslan Yarovyi (13.11.1975-04.06.2024). A native of Donetsk.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

He studied at the Donetsk secondary school \u2116 28 of the Donetsk City Council of Donetsk region. He also completed bodyguard training courses and later joined the Air Force.<\/p>\n
He lived in the capital for a certain period of time and moved to Lviv in 2019. He worked in the field of public security services. In his spare time, he was actively involved in sports and was fond of bodybuilding. His family says Ruslan Yarovyi was a very kind man.<\/p>\n
At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily joined the 58th separate motorised infantry brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi of the operational command “North” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his homeland from the occupiers. He performed combat missions on the territory of Donetsk region.<\/p>\n
Ruslan Yarovyi is survived by three brothers, a sister, nephews, a daughter and a wife.<\/p>\nTaras Panas (05.07.1985-06.06.2024). A resident of Lviv.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

He studied at Lyceum \u211675 named after Lesya Ukrainka of the Lviv City Council. He graduated from the Lviv Automobile and Road College of Lviv Polytechnic National University.<\/p>\n
Lately, he was engaged in repair work. He was a “jack of all trades” and loved his job. According to his family, he was an extremely kind, responsible and hardworking person.<\/p>\n
With the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his homeland from the invaders. After completing the training, he fought against the occupiers in Donetsk, Kharkiv and Luhansk regions in the ranks of the 68th separate Oleksa Dovbush hunting brigade of the operational command “West” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a squad commander. He was seriously wounded while performing combat missions.<\/p>\n
