It is very symbolic that we are handing over the peace pick-up trucks on the day when the Global Peace Summit begins in Switzerland. We believe that a just peace will soon come to Ukraine,” said the head of the region, Maksym Kozytskyi.<\/p>\n
This time, the vehicles will be delivered to soldiers from the 24th King Danylo Mechanised Brigade, the Western Air Command of the Ukrainian Air Force and the National Guard of Ukraine. The vehicles will also be delivered to soldiers serving in the National Police of Ukraine and the 80th separate air assault brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who are currently on the contact line.<\/p>\n
In addition, caring volunteers equipped the pick-up trucks with generators, medical supplies worth UAH 2.5 million, clothes for the military, all-terrain wheels and other humanitarian goods.<\/p>\n
