He came to the defence of his homeland in March 2022. He joined the ranks of the 65th territorial defence battalion. He was a senior shooter-operator. He died on 17 June 2024 during a combat mission near the village of Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended the country as part of the 101st separate brigade of the General Staff named after Colonel-General H. Vorobiov. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk region. During his service, he was repeatedly seriously injured, but each time he returned to his comrades-in-arms.
