Oleg was born on 29 May 1998 in Yavoriv. He completed his secondary education at Yavoriv Gymnasium, graduating in 2015. After that, he entered the Sahaidachnyi Army Academy in Lviv.<\/p>\n
In 2019, he graduated with honours from the academy and began service in the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade, where he served as a platoon commander. He took part in combat operations in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.<\/p>\n
Oleg was athletic, fond of basketball and technology. He was sociable and kind, but at the same time he loved honesty and justice, and respected any person. According to his colleagues, he was a true leader who cared about his platoon. For his merits, he was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, III class.<\/p>\n
His father, mother, brother and grandmother were left without a loving son, brother and grandson. Oleg had been missing since 5 March 2022. After the exchange of bodies and DNA results, Oleg finally returns to his home, where he was so long awaited.<\/p>\n
We express our sincere condolences to the family, friends, comrades-in-arms and everyone who knew the young and brave soldier.<\/p>\n
