The director and accountant of the company are charged with tax evasion and forgery (Art. 212(3), Art. 366(2) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).<\/h2>\n<p>According to the investigation, in 2017-2023, the brothers of two former MPs under sanctions organised a tax evasion scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The suspects are the beneficial owners of a brick manufacturing plant in Lviv region.<\/p>\n<p>To implement the criminal plan, the brothers of the former MPs engaged a manager and an accountant. They entered and signed financial and reporting documents with false information about the volume of manufactured and sold products.<\/p>\n<p>In reality, the number of products actually sold and the firm&#8217;s income were many times higher than officially documented. Accordingly, the amount of taxes and other mandatory payments should have been higher.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of these illegal actions, the state budget did not receive more than UAH 75 million in taxes.<\/p>\n<p>The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the State Bureau of Investigations in Lviv, the operational support was provided by the SBU Office in Lviv region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information policy department<\/strong> <strong>Lviv Regional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office<\/strong> \u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block;
