On 2 July, experts took 5 water samples. According to the results of the study, the pools did not show any exceedances. However, once again, not all of the city’s swimming pools allowed specialists to conduct the survey.<\/p>\n
The following swimming pools were sampled: the Palace of Sports of the Dynamo Sports Complex; the pool of the UNIFORCE fitness complex; the Three Elements health centre (25m and 50m pools); and the summer sports training base of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (SKA), a closed pool. Water was not sampled in the open-air swimming pool of the SKA because it was being changed at the time.<\/p>\n
The water was analysed for 11 indicators: hydrogen pH, iron, ammonium nitrogen and ammonia, nitrates, nitrites, chlorides, total hardness, dry residue, residual chlorine, odour and temperature.<\/p>\n
No exceedances of the maximum permissible concentrations were found in the samples taken.<\/p>\n
By the way, the test was also supposed to take place in the Sport Life and Dolphin swimming pools and in the Beach Water Park, but their administration once again did not allow the laboratory specialists to conduct the study.<\/p>\n
