The juvenile prosecutor of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor’s Office in Lviv has completed the pre-trial investigation and sent an indictment against the lawyer to court.<\/p>\n
He is accused of gross violation of public order on the grounds of manifest disrespect for society, accompanied by particular audacity (part 1 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).<\/p>\n
According to the investigation, in May this year in Lviv, the accused, being near one of the city’s hotel and educational complexes, began to use obscene language to a minor, humiliating his honour and dignity.<\/p>\n
Later, ignoring the requests of the victim and passers-by to stop the conflict, the man hit the boy in the face and groin, causing him to fall to the ground.<\/p>\n
However, the accused did not stop there and struck about 30 more punches to the victim’s body and kicked him in the face. As a result, the minor sustained light injuries.<\/p>\n
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the LRUP No. 2 of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region.<\/p>\n
Note: In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved by law and established by a court verdict of guilty.<\/p>\n
