A road accident occurred on 18 August, at around 18.40, in the village of Holovetsko, Sambir district.<\/p>\n
As law enforcement officers have preliminarily established, a Volkswagen Passat B7 driven by a 28-year-old resident of the district collided with a Forte motorcycle driven by a 13-year-old local resident.<\/p>\n
As a result of the accident, the minor motorcycle driver and his minor passenger, a 16-year-old local resident, were injured and hospitalised.<\/p>\n
Investigators of the Sambir District Police Department No. 1 opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n
