Law enforcement officers have preliminarily established that the driver of a Renault Espace, a 63-year-old resident of Lviv, lost control and drove into a ditch.<\/p>\n
As a result of the accident, a passenger in the car, a 72-year-old resident of Lviv, was injured and hospitalised.<\/p>\n
Investigators of the Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 opened criminal proceedings over the incident under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the sanction of the article is restraint of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.<\/p>\n
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.<\/p>\n
