Lviv border guards detain luxury Porsche Cayne being transported as humanitarian aid<\/h3>\n

In the Lviv region, border guards detected a Porsche Cayenne crossover (2019) that was being smuggled into Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid. The car was supposedly waiting for one of the charitable foundations, but the document turned out to be a fake.<\/p>\n

According to border guards on 24 August, a premium Porsche Cayenne crossover was attempted to be imported into Ukraine through the Hrushev checkpoint. The car was attempted to be smuggled into Ukraine with the involvement of a charity organisation.<\/p>\n

The Porsche Cayenne (made in 2019), according to the transport documents, was coming from Germany. One of the Ukrainian foundations was listed as the recipient in the declaration. However, after checking, border guards found out that the charity was not expecting the car and did not know anything about the situation.<\/p>\n

According to preliminary estimates, the cost of the crossover could be around UAH 1.5 million. Customs officers drew up a report on violation of customs regulations.<\/p>\n
