Over the past 24 hours alone, 33 dry grass fires were recorded in open areas due to careless fire handling. The fire destroyed more than 2 hectares of dead wood and all living things. A total of 128 rescuers and 39 units of specialised equipment were engaged to extinguish the fires.<\/p>\n
The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast urges citizens to stop burning dead wood. We would like to remind you that setting fire to dry grass is punishable by law with a fine:
