It was established that the suspect, a group II disabled person, entered into a fictitious marriage with her 41-year-old acquaintance so that he could avoid mobilisation and travel abroad as a person accompanying his wife with a disability. On 7 September, after midnight, they were exposed by law enforcement officers while trying to cross the border of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
Investigators served the offender a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offence under Part 1 of Article 332 (Illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to five years.<\/p>\n
