the value of seized goods is over UAH 14 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under the procedural supervision of prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office, a smuggling channel was blocked.<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the investigation, a group of people transported goods across the border concealed from customs control in small trucks without declaring them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The warehouse for the temporary storage of contraband was located in the border district of Lviv region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Subsequently, it was transported by large trucks for sale to end consumers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a result of searches in the warehouses and vehicles used to transport the contraband, the law enforcement found and seized food, household goods, electric bicycles with elements and parts for them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The estimated value of the goods is over UAH 14 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, 2 trucks and 4 trailers were seized and arrested by court order.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The pre-trial investigation into the smuggling of goods is being carried out by detectives of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in Lviv region (Part 2 of Article 201-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Note: In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person shall be presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved in accordance with the law and established by a guilty verdict.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information Policy Department<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block;
