When the rescuers arrived at the scene, two apartments and the roof of the building were on fire. The fire was spreading rapidly through combustible structures.<\/p>\n
Due to the heavy smoke, firefighters had to work in special respiratory and eye protection devices.<\/p>\n
Not all of the residents of the building were able to go outside on their own, so the rescuers brought 16 people, including three children, out of the smoke-filled rooms.<\/p>\n
At 02:45, firefighters contained the fire and at 04:31 eliminated it over an area of 40 square metres.<\/p>\n
As a result of the fire, 1 person suffered burns of the upper extremities and was hospitalised.<\/p>\n
The fire was extinguished by 14 rescuers and 3 units of special equipment.<\/p>\n
