Yaroslav Bazylevych, who lost his wife and daughters in the attack on Lviv on 4 September, has set up a scholarship fund in their honour.<\/h2>\n

This is his way of keeping their memory alive.<\/p>\n

To recap: On 4 September, Russians in Lviv killed three daughters and a wife from the family<\/a>, and the<\/a> husband survived. One of the victims of the night attack on Lviv was Yaryna Bazylevych<\/a>, a 21-year-old programme manager at the Lviv – European Capital of Youth 2025 office.<\/p>\n

Yaroslav Bazylevych wrote the first post about the tragedy on his Facebook page since then. He said he was proud of his wife and daughters and would always have the best memories of them<\/p>\n

“I was the richest, happiest husband and father, I had a treasure and I always understood that it was a treasure to have such a wife and such responsible, hardworking, beautiful, intelligent, proactive, patriotic children. I have always been proud of them and will continue to be so. They had everything ahead of them, each of them.<\/p>\n

In an instant, I lost the diversity of feelings that all four of them, each in their own way, gave me during our life together.<\/p>\n

Today I have the best, the happiest, the most beautiful memories – everything else has been amputated!
\nSo I ask for help in creating a sustainable scholarship fund named after Yevheniia, Yaryna, Daria and Emilia Bazylevych, so that the world remembers their names.”<\/p>\n

Yaroslav Bazylevych decided to create a sustainable scholarship fund named after Yevheniia, Yaryna, Daria and Emilia Bazylevych so that the world would remember their names.<\/p>\n

The man asks for help and participation in the collection. The goal of the fund is $100,000, thanks to which UCU students will be able to receive scholarships every year.<\/p>\n
